Sawicki Studios is a husband & wife team featuring Jen and Chris Sawicki, whose studio is located in Amsterdam, NY, but serve the entire Capital Region from Albany to Saratoga Springs, NY. Chris specializes in High School Senior portraits, and they both photograph weddings together and now do only a limited amount of baby/children/family portraits to try to keep up with the demand of our growing senior portrait and wedding business.
Chris is a master of lighting. His images are always way out of the box, cinematic and unlike anything you've ever seen. He is without a doubt a photographic "Rockstar"! Sierra has an amazing success story. I actually photographed her senior pictures 3 years ago and she was about 100lbs heavier. We’ve been talking via Facebook for the past year or so trying to set up a session to show off her new self. When she showed up at the studio for her session I was amazed at the transformation. With the hair and make-up done byNvious we knew it was going to be a fun day. Her confidence was very high, she made it incredibly easy to get awesome pictures. She was right on the money with her posing and everything. Just an awesome story that I wanted to share with you guys

Cassie has an awesome Sweet 16 Hollywood themed party coming up. She came in for our “Star For A Day” session which includes a day of shooting complete with getting hair and make-up done. It was about an 8 hour session between hair, make-up, locations and outfit changes and I had a blast photographing the whole thing! Some of these images will be on display at her party. Kelly & Mike couldn’t have had a more awesome day with almost 80 degree weather and nothing but sun! They are an awesome, down to earth, totally cool couple who went with a “Keepin’ it Local” theme using as many vendors as they could with ties to Amsterdam including the reception venue which was the Amsterdam Castle that Chris photographed a while back. It’s not every day that we get to photograph a wedding in our hometown, as many of our weddings are in Saratoga or Albany, so it was a nice change to remain in the place we are familiar with the most!
Kelly went with a beautiful vintage look and looked amazing! They are such a great couple and we wish them a lifetime of happiness! Without further ado, here are some images from their day!!
