If you don't know us, Sawicki Studios is a husband & wife team with me (Jen!) and Chris. Our studio is located in Amsterdam, NY, but we serve the entire Capital Region from Albany to Saratoga Springs, NY. Chris specializes in High School Senior portraits, we both photograph weddings together and now do only a limited amount of baby/children/family portraits to try to keep up with the demand of our growing senior portrait and wedding business.
Chris is a master of lighting. His images are always way out of the box, cinematic and unlike anything you've ever seen. He is without a doubt a photographic "Rockstar" in this area! Yet another precious newborn baby girl this week! This little one was also very awake most of the session- maybe it’s me?! She did sleep a little bit, though.

Chris did a shoot over the summer for Imola Frei, who is an interior architect- industrial and graphic design and sustainability consulting. She is from Budapest and came to New York to become successful. This is what the image in the magazine is supposed to portray. The magazine is in Hungarian so we can’t exactly read it, but at least we have the visuals!!
Little baby Emily decided to go against her norm and be very alert and wiggly today! So needless to say, photographing this little bundle of perfection proved to be more challenging than photographing a sleeping newborn and any photographer of newborns will tell you how hard it is even then!! There was just so much going on, and she wanted to be a part of it! I am glad to have met her. Welcome to the world Baby Emily!!
