Chris did a location shoot today for “V”. She is turning 12, which amazes me!!! Such a beautiful girl, and to think she is barely a year older than my boys. I am feeling very old!! Happy Birthday “V”!!!!

Happy Birthday “V”!
June 16, 2009I don’t get to do location shoots too often, so this was refreshing- not to mention my subject was SUPER adorable!!! He’s busy, busy busy and was loving the grass!!
I must say, we are super lucky! Another gorgeous day, gorgeous couple and perfect backdrop for photographs! We loved working with Salina and Robb- and Salina’s parents. Such awesome people! I have actually known Robb since elementary school. And might I add that I think Salina had the most gorgeous dress!!!! I wish them both the best of luck for the future!!
This wedding was pure perfection! Beautiful day, amazingly gorgeous couple, fun bunch of people, and a sunset that was to die for! We also got to work closely with Al Woodard who is by far the most amazing videographer I have seen in this area- and was really great to work with! Ceremony/reception was at the Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury. Without further ado, the amazing April & Jason!!

The evening ended with of course the perfect ending, FIREWORKS! And I must say, I am incredibly proud that I captured the very last firework that was a perfectly shaped red heart!
Gorgeous Friday evening wedding at Mallozzi’s! Shawn & Chris used to work together for many years before becoming a full time photographer. Such a beautiful and down to earth couple, and the wedding guests were so much fun!

in the 2009 WPPI 8 x 10 1st Half Print Competition
Chris Sawicki of Amsterdam, NY, has received special honors in the WEDDING & PORTRAIT
PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL (WPPI) 2009 WPPI 8 x 10 1st Half Print Competition. Designed to recognize outstanding photographers, the judging was held in Culver City, CA on June, 2009.
“The Reverand” received an Accolade of Excellence in the Individual category. This is the second year in a row that he has received this award. In 2008, he received this honor for his print entitled “Waiting” in the Bride Alone category.
Sawicki competed against an international field of photographers to win such honors.
The WPPI 8 x 10 1st Half Print Competition awards are presented each year at the largest trade show, educational platform and convention in the United States for professional photographers. The 2009 competition included 1107 prints in 18 different categories submitted by photographers from all over the world.
