If you don't know us, Sawicki Studios is a husband & wife team with me (Jen!) and Chris. Our studio is located in Amsterdam, NY, but we serve the entire Capital Region from Albany to Saratoga Springs, NY. Chris specializes in High School Senior portraits, we both photograph weddings together and now do only a limited amount of baby/children/family portraits to try to keep up with the demand of our growing senior portrait and wedding business.
Chris is a master of lighting. His images are always way out of the box, cinematic and unlike anything you've ever seen. He is without a doubt a photographic "Rockstar" in this area! I like using as much natural lighting as possible, staying simple, yet beautiful, clean and timeless. This is why we make such a dynamic team! Merrissa was recently crowned Miss Teen Mohawk Valley World and will be competing in April for Miss Teen New York World. You may have seen her in the Recorder (with one of the images shown below) There was no photo credit given in the paper- big surprise (it’s not the first time)! We wish her LOTS of luck in her upcoming pageant! And by the way- yes she is in a bathing suit in the middle of winter- this is not photo magic she’s just that awesome!!!
