Concept Photography and Dark, Moody & Haunting Photo Sessions
Although you will mostly see wedding photos displayed on our website and social media since we both specialize in wedding photography, one other thing that Chris has been amazing at since practically day one (dating all the way back to 2007/2008) in addition to senior portraits, is his very creative and incredibly well-done quality concept photoshoots. So many have referred to him as a lighting and photoshop master because, well, he kind of is! (and yes as his wife I am biased, but keep scrolling to see for yourself!)
Those two areas of expertise (lighting + photoshop skills) together mixed with his creativity make an insane combination. I thought it would be fun to gather some of my favorite conceptual and themed session photos he has done through the years!
Older Concept Work
From the earlier days, mostly prior to 2010.

Fairies & Superheroes
Many who have followed us since the MySpace days know that in the earliest of days, even when we didn't have a business yet and I was often taking photographs of our daughter for practice, Chris was constantly photoshopping those photos to put her into whimsical fairy scenes. Here are some sweet concepts with little ones!

And for the older ones too...

Pin-Up Sessions
Chris has done quite a few of these photoshoots through the years. Here are some from one of those sessions!

Halloween Photo Sessions (Black Balloons & Witchy Vibes)

Self-Portrait
A concept he did of himself, setting up the lighting, the surroundings and then of course the post-processing. The final image and then the before next to it. The shirt in the before is hilarious!

Halloween costumes
Chris has done some really cool photos of our son in his Halloween costumes through the years. Here are a few of those from when he was a grim reaper!
